Mareike Carrière actress died of cancer

At the age of 59 years, actress Mareike Carrière is on 17 March succumbed to their cancer.

"Bild"-Zeitung reported to have died in the night from Sunday to Monday at the insidious disease, the popular actress. It states there is the younger sister of Mathieu Carrière, 63, have been diagnosed with cancer since 2012.

2013, it still stood at the side of Simone Thomalla, 48, for the ZDF series "Spring "in front of the camera. At the Berlinale in February 2013 she beamed at her older brother's side.

Mareike Carrière said to have fought with multiple chemotherapies and operations against cancer. Most recently, she was treated at the Charité in Berlin and in the Kassel oncology. She died at home surrounded by her family.
