We should have known Taylor Swift
wouldn’t be on the market for long. Last time we checked, the
23-year-old was getting cosy with Brit award-winning singer/songwriter
Tom Odell. But now it looks like the 22 star has well and truly moved on.
According to Life & Style magazine, Taylor has been
sending flirty texts to Hawaiian surfer John John Florence. That’s
right, he’s called John John. Two Johns.
“He and Taylor have been text messaging,” a source told the magazine.
The singer, who dated One Direction’s Harry Styles, is said to have made the first move on the 20-year-old blond surfer dude.
“Apparently, she contacted him,” said the source. “I don’t think they have hung out yet. They’ve just been chatting.”
The surfing star also hinted at the romance when he was asked about their relationship on Australian television.
“Uh, I’m not supposed to comment about that,” he said.
Taking things slow
He has said he wants to take things slowly; allowing them to get to know each other.
“John John doesn’t want to ruin things, so he’s being careful not to say too much,” said the source.
It looks like everyone in the world of surfing knew about this before the rest of us!
“Everyone in the surf industry is talking about them hooking up,” the source said.
